Refund Policy

Overview

Dogwood Path Advisory provides professional advisory services delivered through scheduled sessions and document reviews. This policy explains when refunds are available, how cancellations work, and what happens if you miss a session.

Deposit and payment

Package engagements (Founder Advisory Sessions, Business Plan Review, Funding Preparation) require a 50% deposit to confirm scheduling. The remaining balance is due before the final session or deliverable.

Hourly advisory sessions are invoiced after each meeting, payable within 14 days.

Full refund eligibility

You are entitled to a full refund of any fees paid if:

• We cancel the engagement due to advisor unavailability and cannot reschedule within a reasonable timeframe
• You cancel before any sessions have commenced and at least 7 days before your first scheduled session
• We determine during the initial conversation that our services are not suitable for your needs (before any paid sessions begin)

Partial refund eligibility

A partial refund may apply when:

• You cancel after the deposit is paid but before the second session of a package engagement — you receive a refund of fees for unscheduled sessions, minus a $150 administration fee
• We deliver fewer sessions than agreed due to advisor availability — fees are prorated for undelivered sessions

Non-refundable items

The following are not refundable:

• Sessions already completed
• Document reviews already delivered
• Administration fees ($150) for late cancellations
• Rush delivery surcharges once work has commenced
• Deposits for cancellations with less than 48 hours notice before a scheduled session

Cancellation by client

More than 7 days before first session: Full deposit refund.

3–7 days before first session: 50% of deposit refunded; remainder covers reserved time.

Less than 48 hours before a scheduled session: No refund for that session. It may be rescheduled once at no additional charge if rescheduled within 30 days.

Rescheduling

Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours notice at no charge. Rescheduling requests with less than 48 hours notice may incur a $80 rescheduling fee.

No-shows

If you do not attend a scheduled session without prior notice, that session is considered delivered and is not refundable. We will attempt to contact you by phone and email before marking a session as a no-show.

Work already started

For Business Plan Review engagements, if we have begun reviewing your document and you cancel, you will be charged for work completed to date (prorated based on review progress) rather than receiving a full refund.

Refund process

Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days to the original payment method. Bank transfers may take an additional 3–5 business days to appear in your account.

To request a refund, email info@system-dogwoodpath.click with your name, engagement reference (if applicable), and reason for the request.

Disputes

If you are dissatisfied with the quality of an advisory session, contact us within 7 days of the session. We will review your concerns and may offer a follow-up session at no charge or a partial refund at our discretion.
